France,
Provence,
Rosé wine with a quite deep - for a rosé - or at least medium-deep colour, clearly noticeable pink with hints of copper and partridge eye. Generous nose, youthful and pure with crushed red berry fruit, quite aromatic, also with some hints of red citrus like blood orange. Generous palate indeed, layers of fruit; I think a style which is tasting more rosé or red than the most pale styles, so I get some more intensity here, and more of the red berry flavours going on; also with those zesty citrusy notes. Good freshness, it’s a medium-high acidity, but it’s classically dry so it still gives a good notion of freshness. It finishes off well, it’s dry with a slightly salivating and refreshing sensation, and a medium towards long finish I would say.
