Deep purple core and dense viscosity. Some development on the nose, a hint of leather and meaty notes with a balsamic spiciness, ripe dark fruit, cassis and tobacco. The palate is dense and concentrated with layers of spicy dark fruit, leather and tobacco notes, still youthful but tannins are starting to soften, long powerful finish. A hint of brett on the nose but purer palate and lots of character.
