Dark ruby red colour. The nose shows some new oak, some leathery and animal notes, aniseed and dark fruit. The palate is rather full, still with firm tannin, some oak notes and leathery animal notes, quite long with dark fruit flavours but a bit tannic/dry today, should soften some more.
