Medium deep ruby red colour. Fragrant nose – crushed red berries, raspberry, blood orange, tobacco, mild gingerbread spice, a hint of oak, and floral notes. Medium weight, still a slight tannic presence but supple fruit, a sense of sweet red berries, yet remaining dry, some herbal notes on the finish and rather long persistence.
