Straw yellow colour, still looks youthful with a green tinge. Pure nose, rather intense notes here, we talk about stone fruit, ripe pear, I think there’s a hint of oak in here, I get a hint of butter, a little bit of nuttiness, not really new or toasted nuts, but there’s something rounding out that fruit. Feels quite dry in terms of ripeness, quite tropical fruits almost. Quite bold on the palate, it’s dry but the fruit is ripe and sweet, quite unctuous I would say, with a medium high acidity, rather gets its lift from that dried fruit and some zest notes on the finish. Feels like a quite sunny climate, rather warm, so it’s well-balanced for that style, with unctuous fruit, finely underlined by a gentle hint of oak, a touch of vanilla. Quite salivating and fresh on the finish, with an emphasis on this nice ripe fruit. The finish is warm, rich, keeps lingering for a while, I would call it a rather long aftertaste. It’s a youthful wine that can be enjoyed in its very youth, but I think this has the structure to go on for another few years.
