Gérard Bertrand – Le Viala – 2011

Minervois La Livinière
MEDAILLE-TASTED-92-2024
France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Very dense core, blue/purple. Ripe dark fruit, cassis, plum, some new oak and spices on the nose. The palate has good depth and weight, layers of dark fruit, well integrated oak, plenty of grainy tannin, sufficient freshness and long, finish. The wine is well built for long ageing.
