France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Light golden colour. Pure nose, rather tropical, intense aromas of yellow fruit, I get some pineapple here, apricot, some notes of butter and almond but not really any new oak. Pleasantly dry palate, with a medium high, quite rounded acidity. It’s rather a ripe style, with what feels like a warm climate, but the alcohol is well integrated. I don’t really get any new oak on the palate. Attractive and clean fruit, good ripeness, and aftertaste is quite persistent, medium towards long. Still a rather youthful wine that could develop some complexity in the short-term, but should really be enjoyed rather young. Pleasant.
