Gérard Bertrand – Château L’Hospitalet Grand Vin – 2010

La Clape
MEDAILLE-TASTED-89-2024
France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Dark opaque colour. The nose is floral and perfumed with dark berries, blackberry, cassis, pepper, ginger, apricot and some roasted notes. The palate is rather full with elevated tannin, some bitterness, dry spices and dark fruit, some smoky notes and a long rigid finish. Needs some time to soften, a bit on the extracted side now.
