France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Very inky colour, blue-purple core. Impenetrable, really colouring the glass. Youthful nose. Intense with high ripeness. Showing some floral notes, violet, with dark berries, plum, blackberry. Some hints of garni and pepper. Very discreet oak. Good density on the palate. Medium towards full. Already quite polished in texture. There is youthful tannin, but ripe tannin. Finely layered with black pepper, spice notes. Good integration of oak. Really juicy and succulent now with a good level of freshness and medium towards long finish. Attractive wine that should drink pretty well from now on and develop over the coming five to six years.
