France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Youthful colour. Medium deep straw. With a green hue. Fine nose, good purity. Very aromatic. Displaying both some green notes, in the direction of ripe gooseberry. Some wild herbs. There is lemon, lime, but also slightly bolder fruit, like peach and apricot, with some white flower. Gentle hint of oak. There is a nice touch of something roasted in the background. Good grip on the palate. Very attractive fruit here. I think it has a bit more than medium weight. Good flavour intensity here. Rounded stone fruit like peach and apricot. Also with more zesty elements with lime and lemon. Very nicely integrated acidity. Some more oak is emerging on the palate. Still quite discreet, I think it adds a nice touch of roasted hazelnut. Good ripe freshness, good extract and long lingering finish. Youthful wine, still with a slight deal of complexity and layered spiciness.
