Gérard Bertrand – La Forge – 2009

Corbières Boutenac
MEDAILLE-TASTED-94-2024
France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Very opaque and dense colour. Very complex and intense nose, high ripeness and layers of blackberry, cassis, apricot, flowers, meat, spices and bacon. The palate has a very high level of concentration with massive tannins and dense vibrant fruit, it still keeps together without rough edges or hardness, however a very opulent and rich style with a very long lingering finish, very good but not for the faint hearted.
