Medium deep ruby red colour. Intense nose, rather oaky and roasted at first, ripe red fruit, pepper, liquorice and herbs. Medium weight, a bit lean with a high tannin/acidity and restrained fruit, some vegetal notes and a medium long finish. Certainly deserving more ageing to soften.
