Inky deep purple/opaque colour. Very sweet, ripe and perfumed nose with violet, crushed berries, cassis, plum, apricot, allspice, clove, liquorice and some meaty notes with absolute purity. Very dense and massive structure, finely balanced by a warming alcohol, plenty of grainy tannin textured like cocoa powder, an exotic spiciness of mint, sage, smoke and tobacco with lovely lush fruit and an immensely long finish.
