Spain,
Catalunya,
Medium deep golden colour with an orange hue. Very intense and expressive nose, some new oak and roasted nuts, stone fruit and tropical hints, very spicy, probably skin contact. The palate is full bodied and concentrated, rather the structure of a red wine with a tannic texture and roasted oak, it still keeps together nicely however with a bright freshness and stony minerality matched with layers of unctuous stone fruit and a very long powerful finish. Complex and full of character, almost the texture of an old school white Hermitage, impressive for its style, should probably divide people but I really like it.
