Inky opaque colour. Some new oak and roasted notes on the nose, high ripeness with inky dark fruit, prune, cassis and liquorice notes. The palate is rather massive with roasted and oaky flavours, young firm tannin and hints of jammed dark fruit, long and warm finish, still with a tannic presence and generous oak flavours. It still appears a bit young and unfinished but should improve.
