France,
Cognac,
Obviously a spirit with a high viscosity, it has a deep golden is starting to turn into light amber. On the nose it is quite youthful, it is still with a dominance of fruity notes, I would think about chocolate candy with orange, or like caramelized orange peel in a way. Then we have some of that almond, nutty notes, discreet hint of wood and vanilla. Good gripe on the palate, still with that youthful bite, nutty and almondy with the alcohol not really noticeable, there is still a hint of sweetness, but youthful sweetness to it, even though the finish is really dry. I would stay it is a quite particular style. I like it, but it is not really the mainstream style of cognac, it is more in terms of flavour on the finish resembling a nice malt whisky in many ways. I am quite intrigued by it.
