Inky dark purple colour and hue. Spicy nose with orange zest, clove, pepper, Kirsch, ripe dark berries and fine wood underneath. The palate is concentrated with a high but balanced extraction, plenty of fine tannin, some oak presence, butterscotch and smoke with layers of ripe dark fruit, cassis, cherry, tobacco and a long voluptuous finish.
