Medium deep ruby red with an evolved rim. Pure nose offering some balsamic and complex notes, dried cherry, plum, gingerbread spice, mild oak and some roasted notes. The palate is ample and round with a good backbone of fine tannin and acidity, not overtly sweet yet with sweet red fruit flavours, good layers and length.
