Youthful red wine with a medium-deep ruby red colour. Quite generous nose, offering ripe fruit, quite sweet fruit with cherry; some herbal spiciness as well. Generous palate, with a quite sweet fruity character; still, I think that’s nicely underlined by a fresh acidity. Tannins are quite mild and integrated already. On the finish, which is pretty long, I get those sour red cherry notes, backed up by that herbal spiciness, adding a certain complexity. No hints of oak really. A nicely rounded style, clearly from a warm climate - it feels generous and ripe - but still with a balanced freshness.
