Israel,
Ephraim Mountains,
Red wine with a medium intense ruby-red colour. Fresh nose, still appearing youthful, there is a slight hint of oak in the background, a touch of vanilla. In terms of aromas, it is displaying more red fruity notes, like sweet red plum, raspberry, some red currant, some fine spices there; like clove, hint of leather. Palate has a medium weight, a quite soft texture, in terms of tannin, it is a youthful wine, but I think it is more of what I would call rounded and juicy, with attractive red fruitiness. Good level of acidity as well. Quite quaffable already now I would say. Nicely rounded, with attractive fruit, fairly long on the finish and well balanced overall. I think that it is a wine that would continue to develop, but I don't really see the point of it as it is already showing off nicely. So enjoy it today.
