Dark ruby red colour with a slightly aged rim. Complex and developed nose, some new oak, sweet dark fruit, spice box and tobacco. Good density on the palate with rounded texture and fine tannin, layers of fine spices, menthol and tapenade, ripe dark fruit and a dense long finish. Nicely done in a classic style with an approaching complexity.
