Viña La Rosa – Ossa – 2008
Peumo
Chile,
Cachapoal Valley,
Dense purple core with an aged rim. Intense and developed nose, good purity with dark fruit notes, cassis, kirsch and cherry with some approaching complexity like smoke and truffle. The palate is full, ample and rather rounded with spicy notes, layered dark fruit, crème de cassis, grainy tannin and a long spicy finish. Good drinkability today, with fine nuance and complexity.
