Germany,
Rheingau,
Transparent colour, quite low intensity here, more orange towards tawny with a pale rim. The nose displays a certain evolution here. There are some hints of spice box, like clove, old spice, dried ginger and sweet red berry fruit. Quite light structure on the palate. Soft and subtle with gentle tannin. There is a slight presence of oak there, and rounded fruit. Appearing quite mature with those spicy hints on the aftertaste. So medium weight with a good freshness, balanced acidity, medium towards long finish. A certain evolution as I said. A wine I would say is drinkable today, no need to age it further. So a quite delicate style of Pinot Noir, I would say, with pronounced spiciness and fine drinkability today.
