Intense dark purple core. Youthful and modern nose with fine layers, some new oak, tobacco, ripe dark berries, cassis, pepper, clove and liquorice. The palate is concentrated with fine extraction and grainy tannin, fresh backbone with spicy dark fruit and a long nuanced finish. Very good.
