Austria,
Burgenland,
Dense and youthful colour, medium to high intensity, slightly blue-purple core. Fine nose here, with good layers. There is a mix of red and dark fruit, with dried spices, vanilla. A fine hint of oak. Still youthful but with a fair amount of complexity. The palate has medium weight. With a good amount of freshness. Quite rigid structure here, with a backbone of fine tannin. On the palate, really vital fresh fruit with plum, red and dark berries. Quite mild spiciness. With pepper, ginger. Long and refreshing finish. I think this is a good drinkability. It still appears young but I would happily drink it. Multi-layered, with a long and spicy finish. It stays quite moderate in terms of structure. Not broad. It shows nice ripe fruit, but not over-ripe and also with a good integration of oak. Very juicy and accessible with an approaching complexity.
