Weingut Zahel – Sauvignon Blanc – 2016

Austria,
Weinland,
Dark straw colour with a copper hue. Ripe Sauvignon on the nose, herbs, elderflower, stone fruit, some evolution, rather "alternative" style beyond primary fruit with more nuttiness and spiciness. Full palate, high ripeness, some alcohol noticeable, dried fruit flavours, yet with freshness, and a spicy and long finish. Interesting beyond classic style with some complexity and evolution.
