Germany,
Wurttemberg,
Red wine with a moderately deep colour. Rather ruby-red. The nose offers some floral notes. Some rose petal. Then there are some hints of orange zest, ginger, so quite spicy. Fruit character is rather on the red fruity side, with crushed red berries and plum. Just a discreet hint of oak. Medium weight on the palate, soft and subtle fruit, quite a high acidity. Mellow tannin and just a hint of oak. Still fairly youthful, yet with a good drinkability I would say. Medium towards long finish that combines that juicy red fruit, with that spicy element of orange zest, plum, old spice and well-integrated oak. Having it still on my palate, I would actually say that the finish is rather on the longer side because it keeps lingering and keeps evolving. Good drinkability today. However, with the potential to go on for quite a few more years.
