Medium deep garnet colour. Pure nose offering relatively high ripeness, with sweet wild berries, smoked meat, pepper and a digest spiciness. Fine layers on the palate, supple and rounded with generous sweet fruit, grainy tannin, and a well-kept freshness. Some oak on the finish but all in balance with a fine degree of persistency and spice.
