Inky dark core. Still slightly dominated by oak on the nose, sweet dark fruit, banana skin, plum and cassis. Rich and full bodied palate with a high ripeness and concentration, less oak and more freshness on the palate with cassis, plum and peppery flavours, grainy tannin and a very long dense finish. Starting to soften, a bit oaky at first but good material for further development.
