Inky dark core with a garnet rim. Modern and ambitious with generous amounts of new oak, tar, smoke, black fruit, truffle and lavender notes. The palate is very dense and powerful still youthful with plenty of oak, a rather high extraction, layers of ripe dark fruit and a very long dense finish. Ambitious with all parts on place, just needing a few more years in the cellar to soften.
