Inky dark core and hue, but having lost the purple. Intense and pure nose with layers of chocolate coated dark fruit, blackberry, cassis, tobacco and some oak derived spiciness. Very dense and concentrated palate, still young, but fine proportions, spicy oak, dark unctuous fruit, intense, but ripe tannin, powerful with a very long finish and very long life ahead of it.
