Quite dark ruby red with a lighter rim. Dark fruit on the nose, rather pure with discreet wood and some aniseed. The palate has medium weight, well rounded with soft tannin, fresh acidity, supple fruit and medium towards long finish, good drinkability today in a pure fresh style.
