Dark purple core. Rather modern nose of new oak, dark inky fruit, smoke, liquorice, cassis and dark plum with spicy and peppery notes. The palate is dense but polished with fine tannin, good weight and flavour intensity, peppery dark fruit and a long intense finish underlined by a fresh acidity. A nice, bold and modern example.
