Dense inky core with a lighter rim. Generous nose offering some new oak, dry spices, smoke and layers of red and dark berries. Good grip on the palate, dense and concentrated with a fine freshness underneath, high tannin starting to smoothen, crushed cassis and plum flavours with a light smokiness and a long weighty finish.
