Inky dark core and a tawny rim. The nose is mature and displays, dried fruit, dried herbs, some oak, leather and tobacco. The palate still shows a youthful texture with rigid tannin, marked acidity and oak, whilst the fruit shows evolution and oxidation, ambitious but a past it peak.
