Dense and youthful purple core and hue. Pure nose showing notes of violet, cassis, kirsch, dark plum and leather/meaty hints. The palate is dense and concentrated with a well preserved level of acidity, grainy tannin, balanced oak, generous dark fruit and a long vigorous finish.
