France,
Champagne,
Sparkling wine, with a medium intense mousse. The colour is rosé, medium towards deep. Fresh nose generous and fruity, displaying red berry fruit. More with an emphasis of Pinot; some hints of plum, red cherry, citrus. Still on the youthful side, but yet with a dash of complexity and spiciness. Palate is dry, with a good gripe. It is a quite full bodied in terms of weight. I would say, marked by a still youthful freshness, quite bright acidity here, giving a lift to those red berry infused flavours. Really good freshness on the finish, it is a medium towards long finish. I have to say that this is a Champagne that is finely drinkable today, it offers fruit, good creamy mid-plate, nice texture, pleasurable. Still with a potential for further aging, but I think it gives a lot of pleasure today.
