Portugal,
Tejo,
Medium deep colour here, there is still a hint of purple, so it appears youthful, but still transparent colour. Fresh nose, fruit forward with notes of sweet plum, crushed berries, a hint of liquorice. No indication of oak. Palate is soft and subtle, quite rounded style. It offers a nice spiciness. Quite sweet fruit. Slightly tannic at first, but towards the finish, it appears quite rounded and subtle. Some spicy notes of liquorice, red fruit and medium long finish. Attractive and generous wine to enjoy in its youth.
