Medium deep, ruby-red colour. Still indicating youth due to a slight blue-purple hue. Fresh nose. Generous and fruit forward here, with mostly sweet red fruit. Some plum, a mild spiciness, with vanilla and pepper. Attractive palate here. Nicely rounded with that good drinkability and juiciness. Fresh, with red fruity flavours, some spicy hints of liquorice and pepper. There is a slight degree of oak in the background, adding just a touch of vanilla. Really I would say this is quite a modern vinification. Subtle style to enjoy quite early on for its juicy fruit. So a fine example.
