Inky dark purple core. The nose exhibits ripe dark fruit, some new oak, clove, aniseed and ginger with some smoke notes. The palate is rather ample, still youthful with rich extract, floral dark fruit notes with crushed black currant, plum butterscotch and a long lingering finish.
