Spain,
Rioja,
Red wine with a medium deep slightly developed ruby-red colour. Quite perfumed on the nose. Youthful, with a lot of fresh berry fruit; like plum, white berries, some floral notes, a hint of oak. Nice palate there, quiet full, but with a soft texture so plenty of fruit there, good mixture of darker and red berries. But quiet smooth and nicely developed texture already. There is a slight tannic presence in the background and some sweet spicy notes like gingerbread, clove, ginger on the finish. Quite persistent as well. A fine combination between ripe fruit and well-kept acidity. A wine I would say that has good drinkability now, but certainly with a potential to be aged for another four, five, six years and to develop.
