Youthful inky dark purple core. Smoky, meaty and peppery nose with crushed blackberry, plum and dry spice notes. Nicely balanced palate, medium weight with a rounded texture, yet with a fine tannic grip, fresh acidity and peppery dark fruit, good length and a digest finish. Good drinkability.
