Allegria – La Belle Histoire – 2018
Pézenas
France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Inky dark purple colour. The nose reveals a hint of oak, garrigue, pepper and sweet wild berries. Dense palate, quite rich in tannin, a bit on the youthful side today, yet nice red fruit and wild herb spiciness, fresh acidity underneath and a rather long finish. Still needing some time to open.
