Medium deep ruby red colour. Sweet nose of dark cherry, plum, leather, tobacco and some oak. Dense palate with high extract, plenty of tannin starting to soften, fine oak and butterscotch in the background, savoury dark fruit and a long muscular finish. Starting to open but will still improve.
