Dense core but turning into ruby on the rim. Some maturity and complexity on the nose, dark fruit, cherry, plum, fine leather and an herbal spiciness. Full and voluminous palate, still a youthful tannic bite but no hard edges, layered with spicy dark fruit, tobacco, fine oak and a very long finish.
