Azienda Paravella – Macole – 2016

Inky dark purple colour. Floral dark fruit, plum, cherry and liquorice notes. The palate is dense with good weight, a young texture, still with grippy tannin but no hard edges, layers of spicy dark fruit, a fresh backbone, discreet oak and a long dense finish. Still needing time but well-made.
