Medium deep ruby colour with a purple hue. Quite roasted and oaky nose with clove, aniseed and sweet plum aromas. The palate shows medium weight with a fresh backbone, moderate tannin and spicy dark fruit, rather good balance in terms of wine but the oak is a bit on top of everything at present.
