Dark garnet with a purple hue. Floral nose, offering jammed plum, crushed dark berries, violet and some meaty notes. The palate is dense and grain-textured with refreshing tannin, sweet dark fruit flavours, pepper, clove and floral hints. Oak is well concealed, good tannin, good acids with digest yet utterly ripe dark fruit, layered spiciness and a long dense finish.
