Bodegas Marqués del Yébenes – 989 de Altitud – 2019

Inky dark purple core and hue. Youthful nose, a hint of oak, wild berries, plum and tobacco notes. Good volume but rather restrained today, yet with a great purity of fruit, length and substance, the tannins are ripe but plentiful and young, needing time to come around but very exciting to follow, give this to 2024.
