Bodegas Perez Hidalgo – Vega del Geva – 2014

Dense ruby red colour with a mature rusty rim. Intense nose with some development, some oak, dry spices, dried red fruit, plum and vanilla. Medium towards full with a rounded texture, integrated tannin, still with some oak and vanilla and dried fruit notes with a rather long finish. Feels like a traditional style with long oak ageing, some complexity and development today but the fruit is already on the drier side.
